3D Hubs Unlocks Seattle

3D Hubs is coming to Seattle to Unlock the city for local 3D printing

We will be hosing at event in Seattle on December 5th to Unlock the city for local 3D printing! We have invited designers, artists, 3D tinkerers and more to join us on this evening.

3D Hubs Launching in Seattle!

Origination: December 1, 2013 - Seattle, WA

3D Hubs, the world's largest network of 3D printers is going on a US unlock tour to bring 3D printing to local communities across the United States!

We are an Amsterdam-based startup connecting people that want to print in 3D with over nearly 2,000 people who own 3D printers so anyone can print in 3D just around their corner. Through 3D Hubs, anybody can turn their ideas into physical reality as we unlock the future of local manufacturing.

We opened our New York City office last month and we are now launching our service in Seattle! To celebrate, we’ll be throwing a party for the 3D printing community at:

Metrix Create:Space, 623A Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102 on December 5th.

Join us for free drinks & bites, networking, live printing demos and a panel of exciting guest speakers that will inspire everyone to start 3D printing!

Currently, there are 26 Makers and 11 3D print Hubs in Seattle. We know there are more out there, so we are hosting this event to engage the community. We will be joined by brilliant 3D printing presenters, each talking for 5 minutes about 3D printing and their area of expertise ranging from fashion, to materials science, to sustainable development, to building printers.

We have already launched across Europe and have had significant successes in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and even Sao Paulo! By using our platform anyone with a 3D printer in these cities can now bring customized, locally produced goods to those around them. Together with our Hubs we strive to build communities that want to share the fun of making 3D printed products, while igniting a new industrial revolution in the process.

We hope that you will join 3D Hubs at our event in your community. While we are in town, it would be lovely to meet with you to introduce you to the benefits it has to the technology, design, and educational communities in your city.
