3D Hubs Unlocks San Francisco

3D Hubs is coming to San Francisco to Unlock the city for local 3D printing

3D Hubs is bringing local 3D printing to San Francisco by allowing every printer owner the ability to become a Hub. Around the world, designers, artists, tinkerers, techies, and students are using our platform to print, create, and explore.

3D Hubs Launching in San Francisco!

Origination: December 1, 2013 - San Francisco, CA

3D Hubs, the world's largest network of 3D printers is going on a US unlock tour to bring 3D printing to local communities across the United States!

We are an Amsterdam-based startup connecting people that want to print in 3D with over nearly 2,000 people who own 3D printers so anyone can print in 3D just around their corner. Through 3D Hubs, anybody can turn their ideas into physical reality as we unlock the future of local manufacturing.

We opened our New York City office last month and we are now launching our service in San Francisco! To celebrate, we’ll be throwing a party on December 8th for the 3D printing community in partnership with Type A Machines at:

TechShop San Francisco @ 926 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA

Join us for free drinks & bites, networking, live printing demos and a panel of exciting guest speakers that will inspire everyone to start 3D printing!

We are incredibly excited to team up with TechShop and Type A Machines for this event. We will be joined by brilliant 3D printing presenters Made in Space and Smith|Allen studio.

We have already launched across Europe and have had significant successes in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and even Sao Paulo! By using our platform anyone with a 3D printer in these cities can now bring customized, locally produced goods to those around them. Together with our Hubs we strive to build communities that want to share the fun of making 3D printed products, while igniting a new industrial revolution in the process.

We hope that you will join 3D Hubs at our event in your community. While we are in town, it would be lovely to meet and introduce you to the benefits 3D printing has to the technology, design, and educational communities in your city.

"San Francisco has it all, except for an easy way to prototype locally and find 3D printers on demand. We are excited to help the tech community grow through rapid prototyping and direct, local 3D-printed production." Davey Gibian
