3D Hubs, the world's largest network of 3D printers, is launching in Toronto! In celebration we've partnered with MAKELAB to host an event for the 3D printing community this Wednesday, February 19th from 7-9 pm at 1139 College Street, Toronto.
At 3D Hubs, we believe everyone should have easy access to 3D printing, and we provide this by connecting people who want to print in 3D with over 3,000 3D printer owners worldwide. We have already launched our service in many major cities across the world, and have already had significant successes in New York, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, and Sao Paulo, in addition to Toronto. With our platform anybody in these cities can now bring customized, locally produced goods to those around them. We are building local manufacturing communities worldwide, and sparking an industrial revolution in the process.
MAKELAB is a hands-on 3D printing playground in Toronto that designs large collaborative 3D printing experiences, and makes ten 3D printers available for anyone to use at their studio. They love product design, experience design, workshops, and prototyping.
Join us Wednesday for live 3D printing courtesy of MAKELAB and our very own Hubs, have a complimentary craft beer and listen to guest talks from Autodesk and one of MAKELAB's very own industrial designers, and meet other 3D printing enthusiasts in your Toronto community.
